Have you ever had a Jew-hater or anti-Zionist throw this verse at you claiming that it means all Jews are cursed from that day forward?
The next time they do it, ask them if they can explain how our Loving Father could ever reject this appeal from His Perfect Son:
"Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34)
And then remind them that more than 2,500 years ago, God already prophesied that forgiveness would be granted:
10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.
Zechariah 12, LSB
Clearly, God's love, forgiveness and grace are available to both Jew and Gentile, whether pre- or post-Calvary.
Period. End of story.
